My Little Chickadee - Skissedilla #187

Hey Scrap Happy People!!  Yay it has been less than a month and I'm already back with a new page to share.  Feels so good to be scrapping and creating but more so supported by so many loving friends near and far. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love you all have given this lil' lady.  Words can't even express. Thank you , thank you, thank you!

For now you came here for some scrap happy stuff and I'm here to deliver with My Little Chickadee a.k.a. - my cutie niece!!! Love this busy lil' girl soooo much!

I started off with some KI Memories Flashback paper and added some paste through punched paper scraps here and there. Then I went crazy with my Heidi Swapp Color Shine (love this stuff - seriously) and built up from there with more KI Memories stamps, washi tapes (some AC tape too), and a jean pocket from a pair of my daughter's jeans she outgrew.  She's so awesome because she knows to just hand them over, LOL!
Skissedilla #187 is out and I'm in hopes I'll see lots of my peeps and new ones too playing along - the sketches are always so inspiring and encourage lots of messy play - love that! And guess what?! I even a few deet shots for you today! Big cheesy grins :D  But here is the sketch first:

And now the deets courtesy my iPhone - seriously the best for detail shots for reals!

I created these felt and fabric embellishments myself - took a heap of time but so worth it me thinks!  The lil'  googly eyed bird is from ScrapFX is probably one of my favorite pieces.  I keep ordering them over and over - that is how much I use these, LOL.  Lots of teal Color Shine over some tissue paper with a bit of paint for the beak and legs.

Here you can see the dimension of the pasted hearts on the background, the title work ( I actually played around with mixing the Color Shine mists with other mediums to get a tad more dimension tho' you can't really tell - I'll save that for another post, K?)

Another shot of my fav ScrapFX Flutterby birdies - you can really see the texture of the tissue paper in this shot - plus I love it because its from my Instagram feed (my friend Michelle of My Analog Life is totally awesome and has been a HUGE part of helping get socially equipped online - thanks girl) which I'm going to try and link up on the side of my blog! Fingers crossed on that one, LOL!  If you have an account - I'd love to follow along with you and have you do the same - my name there is @kndr2tch - its really fun and a great way to share work in progress and to see daily haps of cyber friends lives.
So wow, this was actually a pretty good post - I'll be back soon with a real talk, real life post that may not be my typical kind of post but I'll share a piece of me and I do hope you'll be willing to share a piece of you right back.  In the meantime blessings to you and yours during this season.  Try not to get caught up in the ways of this world cuz' really that is not what it is all about - no matter what your faith is - it all comes down to love and family and the people you care about.  Cherish that - not the stuff you buy!

Peace to you! Scarlett
