New Sketch up at Let's Scrap

It's Wednesday, so that means there is a new sketch up at Let's Scrap!! It's a 2 pager this week and I was up for a DT reveal!!

Here is the sketch:

Here is my take on the sketch:

DD hated this ride at Disney World!!! She had a headache and was sick to her stomach when we got off! I felt terrible for her! All she kept asking me during the ride was when is it going to be done mama?? She had extreme stress in her voice at the time! And of course the ride lasted forever!!!

Here are the pages by themselves:

I cut apart the three pictures since they weren't to useful as a ful size photo. The papers are from DCWV - Boy Stack (DD loves that it is not just for boys), ribbons were from K&Co, MM, and Anna Griffin, I made the tags myself with the patterned paper and MM tag maker, and the gems are from WalMart.

My Latest 1 Hour Creation

Last night's 1 hour crop was tons-o-fun!!! If you didn't make it, now worries! My Sketch World hosts them every month!

I had wanted to get a better photo before I shared, but that just didn't happen today. So, please forgive the dark shot.

Here is what I came up with in an hour:

I love this photo of my kids! They always hang out at the pond in our back land together. I was so elated to get this shot of the two of them. I just imagine them pondering life together, scheming up their next plan as dynamic siblings!

Here's the LO I made during the last 1 hour LO challenge:

A Mini Album for Today

I've been wanting to post the mini gift album I just finished making a couple weeks ago for a friend's first baby. I was bummed that I forgot to take a picture of the whole thing together and the ribbons on the rings, but at least I captured each of the pages I created! I used a variety of materials and papers to create this Baby's firsts album. Hope you get inspired to do a mini too!! I just really love them, once I actually do one!

Here's the cover:

ICS #33

I just love using the sketches at ICS!!!! They have really helped me boost my card making skills!! This week's sketch was another fun one to work with! I have printed them all out and know I will use them over and over!

Here is the sketch:

and here is my take on it:

This is for my DS! he will wake up to it in the morning. I leave for work before he gets up! Just a little something to start his second week in 8th grade. Thanks for another fantabulous sketch!!

Supplies: We R Memory Patterned Papers, buttons from my stash, MM letters

Super Sketchy Sunday at 365 Cards

Day 196 365 Cards
WaHoo!!! I finally did one of these on the right day!!! LOL!! I had to really think about how I was going to use the sketch and finally decided I had to do a circle, I am just not an oval gal!!

Here is the sketch:

Here is what I came up with:

I made this with my kiddos in mind. I always want them to know it is ok not to be like everyone else and do whatever else does. I will be tucking this away for that just right moment when it may be needed. Thanks for the great sketch!

Supplies: K&Co & Sassafrass patterned papers, Bazzill buttons, ribbons from my stash, and Thickers

My 1st Let's Scrap Reveal...........

is coming tomorrow!! The sketch is fantabulous! Crossing everything I have I can get a MUCH better pic of it tomorrow! Technology and timing.....UGH!! I won't even get started on my issues lately (insert roll eyes here!! LOL!)!

So, in the meantime here are 2 LOs and a card......

This LO was done for the Y challenge at MSW. Y was for Yummy. The challenge was to create a LO using food. I didn't get it done in time for the crop deadlines, but am soo happy I did it!

Here is what I came up for the X is for Xtreme card challenge.

The challenge was to make a unique shaped card. This is for my BIL who just came after running a fishing tour business out of the country for the last 7 years!!

And my S is for Stitching LO. It takes me soo long to stitch on LOs because I have to hand do it, DH doesn't let me near the sewing machine!! LOL!!! He has good reason!! I always do love how it looks though.

All us girls helped Papa plant the garden this year and this paper from Basic Grey was perfect to scrap these pics of it with. Here are a couple of close ups:

Sorry for the lack of oomph in this post, but I am a bit pooped this evening since I left for work at 5:00 and was up at 4:15!!! Bed is seriously calling!!

September 1st Reveal at MSW

Sorry this is a few days late! Gotta love it when you need new programs put on your computer for work and then it messes with all the settings you have for home!!! UGH! Sometimes I have been able to get on and others not. Thankfully it seems to be getting better and hopefully my body will adjust to the 4:45 start soon!! I think us teachers take just as much time to adjust to the back to school schedule as kids do!! I came home last night and tried to do some things on the computer and just couldn't even function!! Ha! It was like my eyeballs were rolling around in my head. I think I went to bed at like 7:00 last night! So, anyways this is just a peek into why I haven't been as good as I should about getting on here.

The September 1st sketch is rockin' at My Sketch World!! I have had this LO done for awhile and have been so excited and anxious to share it!! So, here is my take on the sketch:

I just love these pictures of DD when she was little!! My lil' dolly!

Here are a couple close ups:

Supplies: Patterned Paper - K&Co, Prima flower, Tim Holtz tickets, Thickers letters, buttons from my stash

And here is the sketch created by Lucy Chesna:

Hope to see you over there!
