Getting Spooky With It!

Hey Everybody! Happy Monday to you! Last night the first Halloween email newsletter from Scrapbook News and Review Magazine came out and it really put me in the mood to get crafty with some of the Halloween stuff I had at my house. If you don't currently receive this in your inbox head on over to the site so you can yourself all signed up for it. There is a rockin' prize of a $100 gift card to a scrappy place if you enter a Halloween project you created. I decided to use Lucy's card sketches from MSW for the month of October because her sketches are always so great to work with. Although I do not celebrate Halloween myself, I know some people that do and thought these would be fun to send out.

I Love Boo

I used the cutie lil' Matilda line from Cosmo Cricket for this one. I actually got it for DD to make some tags for treat bags she is taking to school with her and lucky me she had some left over!

I added some Perfect Pearls to the moon and star chipboard pieces. I just got 2 sets of these and cannot wait to play with them more than just putting them onto something. I think there are going to be a lot of possibilities!

Witching You

This one I made with the fabulous Echo Park line. I love all the sticker accents they have in their kits!

I popped up some pumpkins after cutting them out and added little faces with my Sakura glaze pens. I haven't busted those out in a long time. The witches hat has some glitter glue on it and the spider I made myself using UTEE and my melting pot. I have been learning soo much from the forum at Scrapbook News and Review so I am trying out all sorts of things. I am thinking I will do a tutorial on some basic UTEE and melting pot stuff in the near future. Let me know if that would interest you at all.

All the supplies I have used on my creations can be found at A Walk Down Memory Lane so head on over there if you would like to pick yourself up some Halloween goodies.

Thanks so much for coming to visit me. Have a great night and Happy Scrappin'
~Scarlett~
