Give Thanks Canvas

I'm ever thankful for the many blessings in life and with Thanksgiving soon upon us here in America I thought it would be fitting to share how thankful I am for each and every one of you, my creative friends, that come here and visit.

For you I.....

for all the encouraging words, sweet notes, laughs, and hugs sent through cyberspace.  For cards, packages, tags, and happy mail sent.  For friendships built and prayers uplifted, I give thanks to you.  These are things I cherish and could have never expected when I dived on in to the online world of scrapbooking/blogging some years ago.  It never ceases to amaze the kind hearts of papercrafters near and far.

As you head in to Thanksgiving I wish you a blessed day with your family, and the same even if you won't be celebrating this feast.  May you be reminded what a treasure you truly are.

May you have time to just be still and thankful for all the wonderful blessings you have right here, right now.
Take good care and Happy Thanksgiving!

It's my Anniversary!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! Today is DH and I's Anniversary! I feel so blessed to be spending my life with my best friend and the man who completes me. We have been through a lot so far in our marriage, because of my health and all the change having lupus brought about, but we are making it and growing closer everyday because of it!

Here's a picture of me and my man

Aren't we cute?? I love my Mostacholi!! (he's Italian and that's one of my lil' nicknames for him!)

So with it being my anniversary and all, I thought it would be appropriate to share the card I made for the K challenge at My Sketch World.

K is for Kiss

Although I am sure I will give this to DH at some point.... this was not the card I made him for our anniversary. He was out of town this weekend and got home this evening, so I was able to give him his gifts and I'll take pictures of that stuff tomorrow to share with you all!

I mixed some Prima and K&Co. goodness for this, with a Little Yellow Bicycle journal tag thrown in for good measure.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me. Be sure to let me know you were here so I can come and visit you too!
Be blessed and have a happy scrappy night!
Scarlett ( I really need to learn how to get a siggy....can anyone help a sistah out??)

You Grow Girl

I am just lovin' these Martha Stewart border punches now that I figured out how to use them properly!!!! I had no clue at first the corner punch had guide wings that fanned out to help position the paper just so!!! Geez!! Soo Much easier that way! Now I am punching my lil' heart out! I hope I can find more of these soon! This LO is for Lucy's sketch challenge at Dixie Pieces. I used mostly Basic Grey, added some Thickers, Prima flowers, and voila!

Crazy Love

I just LOVE how bright and cheery this LO turned out!!! I used Prima papers and some Sass, along with some AdornIt bellies (flowers and transparency words), and the buttons are from foof-a-la. This is for the cut from patterned paper challenge at Dixie Pieces.
