Hello There!!

Once I knew what I was going for with this card I had a blast making it - used some of the Echo Park Everyday Eclectic line with some scraps of Amy Tangerine Sketchbook and Dear Lizzy - finally using up some of my coveted October Afternoon farm animal stickers and gave them a whimsy touch with some googly eyes - who doesn't love a good pair of googly eyes, right?  Add some other bits and pieces along with doodles and washy and called it sendable. ;)
Its fair time around here and for my monthly challenge at My Sketch World I decided a fair themed card was in order.  I had many different ideas roll through my head but in the end I went with some of my favorite parts of the fair - animals, country goods (mason jar for imagery), tickets for rides, and sunny days!!!

When we first arrived we were brought to a halt by a parade of cows!! YAY!  My favorite and long time desire to own - I'm talking wanted a cow since I was a little bit - no horsey wishes here, LOL!  The cows had just been shown are were headed back to the barns.
My hubby and I had the chance to go to our State Fair this past week by ourselves - what a treat!  Its a rare occasion we make it out on our own - really delightful and we need to do it more!!

Lots of ScrapFX goodness used on this page from chippies to stencils all layered up with some October Afternoon 9 to 5 papers!!  Stamping with a milk cap Maya Road stamp on the cardtsock was just what the kraft needed - I struggled with it being bare and a few little splatters of paint didn't do the trick alone.
In sticking with the country theme of today's post (not intentional at all, LOL) I made this down home page for Skissedilla's new sketch #170 - we're back in action after holidays for everyone and ready to inspire with weekly sketches.  Be sure to join on in!  This is the sketch to play with this week:

I also have some news on the class front over at The Art Studio @ SNR.

If you've ever wondered about taking the plunge on buying gesso, have it and aren't really sure of what to do with it, or are looking for some rockin' ways to use it this class is for you!!
I'm all set and enrolled for this class on using gesso starting this Saturday!!  I cannot wait to learn more ways to put one of my favorite mediums to work!  Be sure you sign up and join in the fun!

I also have news on my own classes - for now they are on hold.  My apologies to those waiting for me to announce the winner but many thoughts and attempts needed to be made before the decision to wait was clear.  The above thought really sums up how I feel about the situation - I know my teaching will happen - I've got wonderful content stored away to share - in His time it will happen.  For those of you that left me comments - it will not be forgot - thank you - if you won a class already - no worries, I hold true to my word even though it may take time.

Playing with the Pic Collage app on my iPhone - this is the first time I've used it and I'm sure there's tons to learn - quick and fun way to share some sneaks with you though don'tcha think??

To end on a brighter note I've got lots of fun projects to share coming up!!  Hopefully I get back in to better blogging habits - happy to say less time on the computer has meant more time creating and taking photos!!!

Hope you all are having super Tuesdays.  Thanks for stopping by!!

I am not a fan of kraft paper - at all. but I love your layout - I agree completely that the stamp put the finishing touches on it!
